Retinal Health Screening Test

We recommend this screening test for all patients. OCT(Optical Coherence Tomography) is a completely painless and advanced screening system that checks for serious conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes, age-related macular degeneration, vitreous detachments and more. Like an ultrasound, OCT uses light waves rather than sound waves to see beneath the surface of the eye. Ask for an OCT brochure for more information. This is in combination with the Retinal Photos, which show us a digital image of the retina and optic nerve.
