Dr. Cotter graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1987 and practiced for 6 years in Burlington, VT before moving to Brattleboro, VT. Dr. Cotter has owned this practice since 1993. Originally from Connecticut, he received his undergraduate degree in music education and taught instrumental music in CT before entering optometry school. Dr. Cotter lives in Brattleboro with his wife Lesley and their three daughters. He enjoys skiing, tennis, softball, and spending time on his farm in his spare time.
